About studio STIJLAPART

Designer Edwin de Kuiper from studio STIJLAPART creates furniture on demand and in small series. All his furniture is produced locally. More often than not they are multifunctional or ‘smart’.

Besides having his own collection, he designs for both companies and individuals on demand. These designs are custom made and made with durable materials.

Edwin collaborates with other entrepreneurs and takes care of the whole process from design to end product. Not just as a furniture designer. As an interior architect Edwin both makes all drawings and is a negotiating partner for both the building engineer and the contractor.

Edwin is highly interested in 3D printing. He closely follows all speedy developments within this subject.

Edwin de Kuiper has his own channel on YouTube. There you’ll find – among other things – a presentation of Edwins vision on designing. This presentation was held during a Catch-evening in Deventer. These Catch-evenings are based on te Pecha Kucha-principle: you can show 20 slides, you have 20 seconds per slide. All video’s are in Dutch.
